More opportunity for locals

Logan City has been earmarked as the second fastest growing region in South East Queensland due to the thriving commercial, retail, health and education employment centres already based in the area. Thousands of employment and investment opportunities are set to be created in the near future, thanks to some of the biggest industrial developments in the city’s history.

Mapletree Logistics Park, located in Park Ridge, is a $500m business hub that will be built on 36 hectares of the new $1.5 billion Crestmead Logistics Estate, launched by Logan City Council in 2020. The development will deliver 200,000 square metres of high-grade logistics, warehousing, business and manufacturing space.

Crestmead Logistics Estate will add to an existing 367,000sqm of commercial activity recently completed or planned in Logan City. It is expected to create at least 2,500 jobs for locals over four stages of construction. The location significantly benefits from Transurban’s recently completed $512 m Logan Enhancement Project, providing upgraded access to road networks servicing greater Brisbane and South East Queensland and spurring commercial activity.

Crestmead Logistics Estate is just one of several new industrial hubs within the area, including Wembley Business Park, ESR Gilmore Industrial Estate, and Motorway Industrial Park, ensuring economic growth for years to come.
